1. Promoter
    1. PayJustNow Proprietary Limited (“PayJustNow”, “PJN”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is the promoter of all competitions run by PayJustNow, unless otherwise stated.
    1. Where a competition is run in partnership with another entity, the Specific Competition Rules will identify any co-promotor(s). Each promotor will be responsible for compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (the “CPA”) in relation to its role in the competition.
  • Acceptance of Rules
    • By entering any competition conducted by PJN, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions to the extent permitted by law. These rules will be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Eligibility Criteria
    • To be eligible to participate in any PJN competition you must:
      • be a South African citizen and over the age of 18 (eighteen) years at the time of entry;
      • be an active PJN customer with a valid and active PJN facility at the time of entry;
      • have a PJN account that is in good standing, meaning that it is not in arrears, in default, or flagged for fraudulent or suspicious behaviour as determined by PJN in its reasonable discretion;
      • not have won a PJN competition in the preceding 12 (twelve) calendar months.
    • Additional eligibility requirements may apply to specific competitions and will be set out in the entry conditions as per paragraph 5 of these Terms and Conditions.
  • Entry Conditions
    • The entry mechanics and any further requirements applicable to a particular competition will be communicated in the specific competition announcements and must be followed in full to be eligible.
    • The further requirements apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions. If there is any conflict between the further requirements and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions will apply.
  • Technical Issues
    • Although PJN will take all reasonable steps to ensure the proper functioning of its platforms, participation in any competition may be affected by issues beyond PJN’s control.
    • PJN will not be liable for any technical issues, lost entries, delays, or incorrectly received entries.
  • Winner Selection and Prizes
    • Winners will be selected through a random draw process and announced 7 days after the draw.
    • The prize will be deposited into the winner’s PJN wallet. Prizes are not transferrable, may not be exchanged for cash and may not be assigned or transferred to any third party.
    • PJN will attempt to contact the selected winner up to 3 (three) times via direct message on social media and/or email within a period of 48 (forty-eight) hours from the time of the winner draw.
    • If the selected winner does not respond within a 48 (forty-eight) hour period, or if PJN is unable to successfully contact the winner after three attempts, the winner will be disqualified, will forfeit the prize, and an alternative winner will be selected using the process described in paragraph 7.1. The disqualified winner will have no claim or recourse against PJN.
  • Disqualification
    • The following individuals are not eligible to win any PJN competition:
      • Any person who is under debt review, has applied for debt review or is in the process of applying for debt review;
      • Directors, members, partners, agents, employees, consultants, or contractors of the Weaver Fintech group of companies or any supplier of goods or services related to the competition;
      • Immediate family members (including a spouse, life partner, parent, child, or sibling) of any person listed in paragraph 8.1.2.
    • PJN reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or attempts to manipulate or interfere with the competition process.
  • Compliance and Verification
    • The selected winner will be required to provide valid proof of identity, and any other documentation reasonably necessary for PJN to verify the winner’s eligibility, identity, and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, further requirements (refer clause 5.1 above) and applicable laws;
    • If a selected winner fails to provide the required documentation within the time period communicated by PJN, or if PJN is unable to verify the winner’s eligibility or identity, the winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize. An alternative winner will then be selected in accordance with Paragraph 7.
    • PJN reserves the right to withhold or decline to award a prize if legal, regulatory, or verification requirements prevent distribution or if awarding the prize would breach any applicable law.
  1. Tax Implications
    1. The winner is solely responsible for any tax implications, liabilities, or reporting obligations that may arise as result of accepting or using a prize.
    1. PJN does not provide tax advice and makes no respresentations as to whether a prize may be subject to income tax or any other form of taxation.
    1. It is the winner’s responsibility to seek independent tax advice and to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and reporting requirements.
    1. PJN will not be held liable for any tax consequences suffered by a winner in connection with any prize.
  1. Publicity and Marketing
    1. PJN may use the winner’s name, likeness, and/or photograph in marketing and promotional materials.A winner who does not wish to have their information used for marketing and promotional purposes may object by notifying PJN in writing within 72 (seventy-two) hours of being informed that they are a winner. Objections must be submitted to marketing@payjustnow.com If a winner objects in accordance with paragraph 11.2, PJN will not use their information for marketing or promotional purposes.
    1. PJN will not pay any remuneration or additional benefits to the winner for marketing and promotional purposes.
  1. Additional Information
    1. PJN may request any additional information from a winner that is reasonably necessary in order to validate and process their prize.
  1. Right to Modify or Cancel
    1. PJN reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel a competition, or to correct any errors or omissions in the competition materials or rules, at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or if such action is reasonably necessary to prevent unfair advantage or prejudice.  unforeseen circumstances, or to prevent unfair advantage or prejudice.
    1. In the event of cancellation, amendment, or suspension of the competition in accordance with this clause, participants acknowledge and agree that they will not be entitled to any claim, compensation, or recourse against PJN, except to the extent permitted by law.
  1. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
    1. The prize is awarded on an “as is” basis and, to the fullest extent permitted by law. PJN makes no warranties, representations or guarantees regarding the prize, and disclaims any liability for direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from the use of the prize.
  1. Indemnity
    1. By entering a PJN competition, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PJN and its directors, shareholders employees, agents, and representatives against any claim, loss, damages, liability, cost or expense arising or in connection with your participation in the competition or acceptance of a prize.
  1. No Guarantee of Winning
    1. Entering a PJN competition does not guarantee you will win a prize. Prizes are limited and winners are selected strictly in accordance with the random draw process described in these Terms and Conditions and the rules of the specific competition. 
  1. Waiver of Rights
    1. If a competition is amended, suspended or cancelled in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, participants acknowledge and agree that they will not be entitled to claim compensation, refund or recourse of any kind against PJN, its directors, shareholders employees, agents, and representatives arising from or in connection with such amendment, suspension, or cancellation.
    1. By participating in a competition, participants acknowledge that competitions may be subject to unforeseen circumstances and agree that PJN’s decision to amend, suspend, or cancel a competition for legitimate reasons will be final.

PayJustNow x TFG “Win Your Basket Back” Competition

1. Competition Period

The Competition runs from 13 March 2026 until 30 April 2026 at 23:59 (South African time). Entries received after this date will not be considered.

2. How to Enter – Existing Customers
To qualify, existing PayJustNow customers must:
a) Shop in store or online at TFG (The Foschini Group) stores using PayJustNow as the payment method during the competition period; and
b) Successfully complete the transaction.
c) Following the above customers will be automatically entered.

3. How to Enter – New Customers
To qualify, new customers must:
a) Sign up and be approved for a PayJustNow facility during the competition period;
b) Shop in store or online at TFG (The Foschini Group) stores using PayJustNow as the payment method during the competition period; and
c) Successfully complete the transaction.
d) Following the above customers will be automatically entered.

4. Participating Stores
TFG refers to The Foschini Group and includes, but is not limited to, the following brands and stores: Foschini, Markham, Totalsports, @home, American Swiss, Sterns, Galaxy & Co, Hi, Coricraft, Sportscene, The FIX, Relay Jeans, G-Star RAW, Exact and Jet.

PayJustNow is not responsible for any changes to store participation made by TFG.

5. Prize Description
a) Five customers will win the value of their TFG purchase (“their basket back”), up to a maximum value of R10,000 (ten thousand Rand).
b) If the transaction value exceeds R10,000, the prize will be capped at R10,000.
c) The prize amount will be credited to the winner’s PayJustNow wallet.
d) There is no minimum spend required to qualify, provided the transaction is valid and successfully processed using PayJustNow.

6. Winner Determination
Winners will be randomly drawn from all qualifying transactions made during the competition period. Each qualifying transaction constitutes one entry. Each customer will only be able to claim one basket amount back.

7. Refunds and Cancellations
If a qualifying purchase is refunded, reversed, cancelled, or disputed prior to winner selection or prize allocation, that entry will be disqualified.

8. General
a) By participating, entrants acknowledge that the campaign message “The Clever way to pay at TFG” is promotional in nature and does not constitute financial advice.
b) Standard PayJustNow terms and payment conditions apply to all transactions.
